Things To Do

The villa is superbly located between Calis Beach and the beautiful working harbour town of Fethiye.  All the local attractions are within easy reach of the bus or a short car drive away.

The boat trips are best booked directly at the harbour in Fethiye (dont be tempted to book boat trips in advance as there are LOADS of boats all offering slightly different deals and incentives.  Kids usually go half price but if you lay it on thick you will get them on for free!!).

Book scuba diving with our In Resort team, they offer a better price than booking directly with European Diving.   The diving trips are for all the family even those not wanting to dive, kids can have a go as well or just snorkel off the boat and watch the other divers enjoying themselves.  Lunch is included in the cost of the diving as is all equipment for those taking the plunge for the first time (for experienced divers you will be taken on a seperate boat to more adventurous diving sites).

Saklikent is a wonder of nature that is not to be missed.  It is a 12km gorge carved into the earth by the river running at the bottom.  The gorge is so steep that the sun never reaches the bottom which makes the water very "refreshing".  This is not a trip for the feint hearted or those not to good on their feet as it is a good walk over uneven ground which involves a bit of rock climbing and making your way across a fast flowing river to get to the gorge.  After your walk why not settle down and have a snooze and a spot of lunch in the shade of the suspended platforms over the river!

Eating Out

There is a huge choice of restaurant in and around Calis, Hisaronu and Fethiye, from simple Turkish kebabs sold from street vendors to nice Italian, Chinese, English and of course Turkish restaurants.  Please try the Turkish cuisine it is superb (you must try a mixed meat pide, delicious!!).  For those looking for exciting nightlife why not book a return taxi with our In Resort team to the buzzing town of Hisaronu
